Suzanne Methot
Suzanne Methot is an award-winning author of nonfiction and YA books focused on Indigenous healing, trauma, and culture, including Legacy and Killing the Wittigo. She is also an educator, curriculum writer, editor, and social historian with over 30 years of experience in equity, anti-oppression, and Indigenous-led community work. She is Asiniwachi Nehiyaw (Rocky Mountain Cree) of mixed Indigenous and European heritage, born in Vancouver and raised in Sagitawa (Peace River, Alberta).
